Greetings friends and fellow travellers. Paul and I head off in two days time for another wonderful adventure in France, this time adding in Rome and Milan as well as Corsica, the Atlantic coast of Portugal and a goodly amount of Spain.
Did I forget to say Paris? Of course, Paris! And what about the Mediterranean? Yes, the Med too, in summer and together with every European who is planning to be on holiday there at the same time as us. Should be chaotic.
This first post is practice for me. I've not forgotten how to write, but I have forgotten how to upload the photos and fix them in the correct place. And I've also forgotten how to send a post to you that is just one simple click from an email. But after a bit of fumbling around I think I'm ready to go.
There are two ways for you receive an email link to this blog each time I post.
The best way is to subscribe on the lower right hand side of this page under the heading "Follow by email". Anyone can subscribe, so if you have friends who are interested, they can sign up too.
The second way is to reply to the email message I have sent you, and tell me that you want to be included, and I'll subscribe you. But given that I have nearly 80 interested fellow travellers, it would help me a lot if you were able to subscribe yourself.
Well, that's about it for the present. Two more sleeps and we'll be on our way. Back at the end of October - yes, that's six and a half months.
